Will Rekaptr hurt my in-game framerates?
No. Rekaptr is written in Rust and uses your graphics card's dedicated encoding silicon (NVENC/AMF/QuickSync) rather than your CPU. In idle tests, overhead is measured at just 0.11% CPU.
What happens if my cloud storage runs out?
Local recording to your PC never stops. You can always manage your cloud library, delete older clips, or upgrade your storage plan at any time.
Can I keep raw clips on my PC without uploading?
Yes. Every single clip is saved directly to your local drive first. Uploading to cloud storage or sharing with your squad is always an optional decision.
